We were extremely busy, but told him we’d have a look at it for him.
Mr. Abubaka Mohammed came in around 4:00 on a Friday afternoon with a heater hose issue.
We informed him up front of our flat hourly rate of 125.00, with a minimum of an hour for Tractor Trailers. He said he had tried to do this repair on his own. On further inspection we found that out of the four hoses there was a split on the back side of one of the lines, and the clamp was only three quarters of the way on? These clamps are spring loaded and take a special tool for installation. They are in a difficult location to get at, even with the proper tools. When we came across this issue we told Mr. Abubaka our findings and he immediate accused us of this damage. We informed him the proper repair would be to drain the system and replace the line. This would take between ½ an hour to an hour. He demanded we do this work for free with no additional charges. We said we were sorry but we could not do that. We installed all the hoses and clamps properly and sent Mr. Abubaka on his way.
I suppose in every line of business?

I have been going to C&R auto for years. They are a family business that wants to do right for their customers. They give written estimates and never use scare tactics other places use. They were recommended to me by a friend and I will never go any place else. It is nice to go to a place where they know your name and you know theirs.
This shop comes highly recommended!
