Normally one of my favorite spots to take pictures of the Hartford skyline. I will say that I tried to go today and it says the park is open til 6pm but the chains are up to the parking lot. Very unhappy!
Such an awesome park! There are picnic tables, access to the river via boat launch, walking trails, an amphitheater, plenty of shade and free parking. They also have portable restrooms available. Great place for an afternoon stroll, and easy access to downtown Hartford by foot!
Boat race was great event! Enjoyed the energy of hundred of participants and supporters.
Nice place for a walk or bike ride, with a friend. I do not recommend women to walk alone. Surrounded by woods and improvised trails.
Good place to sit back and watch the boats go by... Very senic with the colts dome and hartfordskyline
