Beautifully remodeled it's a wonderful place of learning and fun for the children.

Careful taxpayers, they will kick you out! Only library I've been in, as an ADULT that has NO eating area.
Is a very good library. I like to study there. I just wish the staff would do a better job at making sure that people who come in groups for group study were made sure to be placed at the reserved study rooms. The constant chatter is very distracting when I'm trying to focus on my studies. Other than that, I am very pleased.
As a taxpaying citizen in East Hartford, no, I'm not going to eat my food outside where there is NO sitting area.
Copies/prints are 25 cents each page and the library can't make changes for a $20. No thanks I will go to South Windsor where the first ten copies are free and the library can make change from a $50. The renovated library seems like an entire waste of space if you ask me. Can't bring your coffee in, again we are in 2016...most libraries allow adults to eat and drink inside the library.
Yes, they have a sign saying eat your food outside. Like an animal. I've used countless other libraries in other town, colleges and universities that don't feel the need to ban eating. Patrons are adult enough to clean up after themselves. Considering how much they spent on renovations, someone should have been smart enough to think of eating space if they felt it an issue. You can eat at UConn's countless libraries. You can eat in MCC's library. I purposely went to an area FAR away from books and cleaned up after myself, then had someone (whose being paid by taxes from patrons) tell me that the next time they're going to kick me out of the library for the whole day. Really?
