I am disabled. I have a very poor opinión of Inter Community care.They,The workers and therapists give The impression that they only care about money.Therapists are rude.People with mental health issues deserve more respect and compassion.
When I first started my services here in 2013, the staff was great and well mannered. I've attended this place on and off for 4 years and I've noticed they become more unorganized and rude towards clients. Not the first thing you'd expect when you walk in the door for help.
Intercommunity has changed my life. More accurately, the people at Intercommunity. I have been to almost all surrounding programs unsuccessfully. IC treats me as part of not apart from. Like an adult , with respect. I have to do my part. It works for me. Results required work on both parts. The journey has been remarkable and continues. Godspeed to all.
My husband and I got our flu shots here in the fall. It was easy to get an appointment (although it is not always necessary to have an appointment), we were treated promptly and professionally and their facilities were very clean and newly renovated.
Recently I had to go without my medication due to a "computer error" that discharged me from their system the receptionist didn't seem to care at all that I was out of medication and the only thing she kept telling me is that she would call her boss and "get back to me". I told her that I have no other way of obtaining the prescription and that the withdrawal symptoms could be as serious as a seizure she still said "I'll call my boss and get back to u at this number, u will then have to re do the whole process of getting into the system which could take at least a month." Intercommunity doesn't care at all about their patients and think nothing of doing things that will cause them serious harm.
