Galen Greer and his crew are all extremely knowledgeable as individuals, and together, there was nothing they couldn't answer! I'm an eight year holder of a concealed carry permit for pistols, but knew nothing about long guns at all. I was purchasing my first shotgun for skeet shooting. Being fairly petite, I was given great insight into the need for my gun to fit well, and how to make a decision about the length, balance and weight of the gun as it pertains to shock absorption, and ease of movement for tracking a target. I'm very pleased with the guidance and education I received at Cabela's! Thank you!
I have not hunted since I was a kid and the staff has been excellent in helping me sort through the type of guns that would benefit me now that I'm retired and getting back into hunting.
The atmosphere there allows me, and others I know who have been there, to feel more like a friend than a customer. And that is a feeling I have heard from others who have shopped at this Store.
They always have good prices, especially during big sales. The employees are friendly and helpful. They have merchandise that is not found in other stores. I would recommend this store to anyone.
Cabela's is a totally awesome store. It's not just full of all your favorite outdoor brands, but also has a huge mountain built up in the middle of the store with loads of life-size animals to look at. There's an aquarium in the center of the mountain and a shooting range game off in the corner by the guns. They have a store within the store that sells various food items including really good fudge. In terms of the actual items to buy, they have basically everything you could want to enjoy the outdoors. Clothes, tents, bags, tools, appliances, hunting and shooting, fishing, swimming, boating, riding and everything in between. There's also a nice little donut truck outside. Check it out, you won't regret it.
There's never a bother or rush with the Salespeople who know what they're talking about. And, most important, if a unique question is presented to one Salesperson and they don't know the answer... they will hunt down (no pun intended) a Salesperson who is well versed on whatever issue is presented which enables a correct answer. This is vitally important when you're talking about Guns and Ammo.
We needed a large safe for long guns at the end of their busy day. The Manager on Duty (Galen) and the Staff he led was superb in getting it into our SUV at 8:55pm with their "Will Do" attitude which rises above a "Can do" attitude in my book. And that "Will Do" attitude is obvious in every area I have encountered at the store.

Great looking store with a wide selection of items. Employees were very friendly and helpful. Also had a really good burger here in their little restaurant.
In short, I know I will be treated well by patient and intelligent Salespeople whenever I walk through their doors. And being right off I-84 makes it one of the most convenient stores I've ever shopped at.
