I have a family member in this here in the assistant living part i also worked there although i don5 care for nursing homes this is one of the better ones
The RN's , CNA's , OT's and PT's are for the most part GREAT .
My mom stayed here and now an aunt. I think it seems like it has a lot of caring people working there. My aunt lost her glasses and all the staff I talked to wanted to help us find them. Sadly, some of the long-term patients in mobility chairs do seem grouchy and say not-so-friendly things. I feel bad though, because I have a feeling that they may not get many visitors themselves, and one issue for them is that the main elevator is extremely slow, and has long waits due to all the visitors hogging it. lol. I also liked that they have a sunroom with beautiful birds, and my aunt loves animals. I hope someone covers their cages at night and gives them some treats sometimes, but they do seem to have bird seed, clean cages and water. My aunt says the food is not exactly amazing but way better than her meals-on-wheels fare, and she gets options. :-)
who was unkind , but the rest of the staff was outstanding .
They are dedicated to your health and well being .
If you can get a room on the newer side (c/d) ,because the old rooms suck, they are nice.But not enough private rooms.
I hope some day this place will consider having a union .
It appears that there might of been an individual or two in upper management
The staff were courteous and pleasant. The respiratory therapist carrying for my friend was also very polite and courteous. The facilities were clean and well kept if a bit dated. Overall I thought this was a very nice facility. It seems my friend is getting very good care. He certainly seemed happy with how he has been treated him so far. Thank you for taking such good care of him!
